The steel is W2 carbon steel at RC61. This steel is unique in that you can create hamon. (The lighter shade you see on the spine) It takes a very fine edge, holds it very well and has very good toughness.
The reverse side
The guard is OD green canvas micarta. It’s super light and nimble. This is going to be a great all around hunting knife.

The Santoku handle is Stabilized Curly Narra and the Eurochef has stabilized Amboyna burl both of which are super rare and absolutely gorgeous.
The steel is Magnacut stainless steel for both which is high alloy steel and has very high edge retention. They are heat teated to RC62.
Both handles are stabilized
These have some of the rarest and most beautiful wood I’ve come across.
Both have brown micarta and white G10 liners.

This Curly Red Gum is just as curly as Hawaiian Koa and is stabilized. It has very nice chatoyance and has black and Ivory liners.
Wolfram carbon steel is excellent steel that offers very good edge retention at RC63 and is easy to resharpen.

N690 Nessmuk Hunter
The steel is N690 stainless steel and is heat treated to RC61. The handle is canvas micarta from GL Hansens and sons. It’s the most unique micarta on the market IMO.

The N690 stainless steel will perform very well at RC61 and takes a very good edge but will be easy to resharpen.
