The steel is Zwear carbon steel at RC63. This steel is one of the best carbon steels on the market. It takes a very fine edge, holds it very well and has very good toughness.

The steel is W2 carbon steel which has been differentially hardened producing some nice hamon on the spine. It was heat teated to RC61.

Wolfram carbon steel is excellent steel that offers very good edge retention at RC63 and is easy to resharpen.
The Curly Acacia is a cousin to Hawaiian Koa and is stabilized. It has really nice chatoyance and has black and natural liners.
